Prof. Dr. Çetin Işık
Prof. Dr. Çetin Işık, an orthopedic and traumatology specialist, was born in 1981 in Mardin. He completed primary, secondary, and high school with honors. He scored the highest in the university placement exam in Mardin, securing a place at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine.
- After graduating from Ankara Faculty of Medicine in 2005, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Ankara Diskapi SSK Hospital. He presented his specialty thesis in 2010 and became an expert in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He passed the chief assistant exam and was awarded the title of chief assistant in 2012. In the same year, he received the title of Chief Assistant at Bilkent Atatürk Education and Research Hospital.
- In 2014, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Joint Surgery at Yıldırım Beyazıt University (Faculty of Medicine). He achieved the title of Associate Professor in 2016 by passing the necessary examinations and contributing numerous publications to the scientific community. He continued his simultaneous work at Bilkent Atatürk and Yıldırım Beyazıt Faculty of Medicine.
- Throughout his academic career, he has trained many physicians and specialists. To date, he has performed over 20,000 operations. He has authored more than 100 articles and book chapters and has held academic positions at over 200 conferences and courses both domestically and internationally.
- He is an expert in all surgical and non-surgical treatments of the musculoskeletal system and joints.
